Generate Form WH-347 and California A-1-131 in minutes, not hours. CertPay checks every worker against your wage determination and tells you the exact dollar shortfall before you sign — the part that actually costs contractors money.
Every contractor and sub on a federally funded job files a WH-347 every week, for every project. The DOL estimates it takes about 55 minutes per report by hand. The software that automates it starts at $300–$1,200 a month, and QuickBooks Payroll and Gusto don't produce the form at all. So a ten-person crew with one school-district job does it in a spreadsheet, on a Friday afternoon, badly.
Enter a worker at $30 base + $10 fringe against a $49.05 determination and CertPay tells you: short $9.05/hr on 40 hours — $362 owed. Most tools happily print the violation.
The premium is 1.5× the base rate only. Fringe is paid on every hour and never multiplied. Getting this backwards is the classic back-wage finding, and CertPay gets it right.
Not a reskin. Daily overtime over 8 hours, double time over 12, the seventh consecutive day, SDI, cheque numbers and the full 13-column deduction grid the A-1-131 requires.
Since 2009 the DOL wants only the last four digits on a submitted payroll. Type nine and CertPay refuses to file it clean.
"Start next week from this one" carries the crew, classifications and rates forward and zeroes the hours. That's the whole job after the first setup.
Names, wages and partial SSNs stay in your browser. No account, no server, no breach to worry about. Works with no signal in a job trailer.
Six screens. The first week takes about fifteen minutes; every week after is five.
